No means "Yes" and "No?"
We've reached a point in this joyous privilege of raising a kid where Daddy and I have to "figure out" what YES and NO really mean (among other things).

Joseph’s vocabulary is getting better by the day. He’s picking up new words at school as well as at home and he definitely understands EVERYTHING you tell him or ask him. If he’s not shrugging his shoulders to say he doesn’t know, he’s verbally trying to tell you what’s on his mind.

Why is it, though, that he can understand us and it takes an act of congress for us to understand him?! I mean, aren't we suppose to be the "adults" in this thing?

I guess that’s all a part of the privilege!

Joseph…do you want some more rice? And, you might want to eat out of the other side of the spoon…it may be easier :-)

Lunch at Pappadeaux's with my Mommy and Daddy!
