Sitting up...and pretty excited about it!

It's official!
Joseph thinks he is "REALLY" a big boy now. Today he realized that he can sit himself up from a laying down position!

Oh my gosh...what on earth does this mean?!

Will rolling from his back to his stomach to get to where he wants to go become a thing of the past? Will crawling, scootin' and walking soon become his preferred way to "travel?"

SAY IT AIN'T SO!

Ok, Mommy is officially depressed...
Me and Laila
"After an evening of jerk chicken wings and peas and rice that my Daddy made...yummy!"

Something to ponder...
"They" say reading is fundamental. Is that fundamental as in "basic" or fundamental as in "taste good?" Joseph...what do you think?

Who said kids aren't good for anything?
Try having them fold a few articles of clothing on laundry day :-)

Another Road Trip!
"Today I went to Galveston to have dinner with my grandparents! Check us out...that's my Daddy and me on the left, my Big Poppa Brown, Jeremiah and my Uncle Man! Are we cool or what? Too bad I didn't smile though...I was busy checking out the birds and stuff :-)"

Grandma's Brag Book!
My grandmother came across a "brag book" full of pictures of me (Mommy) when I was a baby...After comparing some of those pictures to pictures of Joseph...it is amazing to see the resemblance! People have always said how much Joseph looks like his dad...I beg to differ!
Enjoy
You be the judge!
"Yes Mommy I am a genius!"
"...I'm reading at 8months old!"

A Day at Discovery Green Park, Houston...
...with Auntie Dee Dee and Jeremiah!

"Riding in my wagon!"

Meal time is not the same at our house...
...This is a job for soap and water...NOT baby wipes!

Please explain this to me...
...You buy your kids "age appropriate" toys...the ones with all of the BOLD colors, and for some reason, unbeknownst to me...they prefer things like ummmm...the remote!

Joseph, when you get a second...please turn to channel 12 :-)

Yes, Joseph...Every baby has a bathtub picture!
So smile :-)

Did somebody just say something?
Last night our little man decided he wanted to start talking in his sleep!

To be awakened by "baa, baa, baaa, baaaa" was quite entertaining to say the least. Of course we weren't able to catch this on video; as it was waaaay too early in the morning!

I wonder what's next...

to be continued :-)
