"I Love it when company comes over!"
"It may take me a minute to warm up to ya...but when I do...It's soooo much fun!
Hey Josh...let's see how fast this thing can go!"

"More Spaghetti Please!"
Joseph has now reached the age where baby food is no longer an option...well, at least not for Lunch or Dinner; we can still get away with the occasional breakfast in a jar (granola cinnamon and raisin ONLY). We held off as long as we could...11 1/2 months is not too bad huh?

So, not only is he walking, but he's eating "BIG PEOPLE'S FOOD": beans, rice, saushy' links (beef of course), rolls, grits, eggs, chicken, green beans, corn, peas, carrots, oatmeal (definitely not the brand in the packages), macaroni AND spaghetti...yes, spaghetti (Maw Maw's special sauce; chopped up real good!)! I know this list is going to continue to grow as he gets older, but I guess I'm most proud of the fact that we didn't succumb to the pressures of giving him barbecue sandwiches at 2 months old! YES...you old school parents kill me!

Oh...I must also mention that Joseph has only been walking for what? A week? And he has already mastered walking and drinking out of a cup at the same time! Please tell me I told you that Joseph was a genius! LOL!

So until next time..."More Spaghetti Please!"
"Mommy...is this my good side?"

Yep...We've Got A WALKER!!!
Such a joy to be around...
Just reflecting on the beautiful blessing God has given James and myself...

In another month, Joseph will be a year old and each day of the past 11 months have brought about many new and exciting things! Granted, as parents, we've had to make some major adjustments in some areas, but we've always been assured that God was with us in everything and that He would never put more on us than we could bear (That's the Word!). There is not a day that goes by that we aren’t reminded of His grace and His mercy towards us…we can’t thank Him enough for trusting us with this precious life that He created!

So as the days go by, we hope that YOU continue to enjoy watching and reading about the life and times of Mr. Joseph James Brown. There is so much that God has in store for him AND for us, as parents, and we thank you for being a part!

Much love!

"I made 11 months old on yesterday...
And I'm pretty upset about it"

Gosh Joseph...Give us a smile or something!

Fourth of July!
"My brother/cousin Jeremiah came to my house to play with me on the fourth of July. We didn't get a chance to pop any firecrackers, but we did have fun playing in my bubble gum ball pit!

Jeremiah had a chance to use my Mommy's camera to take pictures...my Mommy said he did as well as he could at his age. What do you think?"

Fishing anyone?
"Have your Mommy call my Mommy!"

Deacon Family Ministry Fun!
"On Friday, my Daddy, Mommy and I went to our Deacon Family Ministry meeting at Ti' Velma's house http://www.n2scrapn4fun.blogspot.com/ . My Ti' Pam made some really good chicken spaghetti and Ti' Velma "stuck her foot" in the salad that she made (my Mommy said that!).

Here are some pictures that Ti' Velma took of me and my Mommy and Daddy that I wanted to share. I hope you enjoy them!

Oh...I have to tell you a secret...shhhh! Aunti Kathy gave me some cake! Please don't tell my Mommy:-)"
